Born in Marrakech in 1981, Hicham spend his time since his early age doing drawing & calligraphy. At high school, after the classes he was in charge of decorating the walls of the Library with different types of Arabic & Latin calligraphies.
In 2001, as part of his school programs, he’s taking part in a workshop managed by the artist Larbi Cherkaoui at the Marrakech’s Museum, an experience that allowed him to improve and confirm his talent as calligrapher.
With his thirst for Art, he’s taking part in a ceramic workshop in 2002. Then in 2009, his curiosity pushes him for new artistic experiences. He chooses to take part in a Pop Art workshop with Morran Ben Lahcen where he combines calligraphy & stencil, mixing different techniques from Street Art.
Today, Hicham devotes his skills in artistic research and experiments new techniques associated with calligraphy and Street Art.
His lively energy and his desir to communicate his passion for Art to others, brought him to meet Larbi Dedouani, one of the most important sculptor in Marrakech whom opened his workshop to combine his own talent to the one of Hicham, both of them going for a new artistic adventure.
Hicham is from Morocco, he’s a calligraph & a Street Artist combining graffiti techniques amongst other styles in his work.

He’s very active in the Moroccan art community and works in collaboration with other artists for big graffiti & street art projects in advertisements such the National TV & the car industry. He’s also involved with the collectif “Atelier d’Art” amongst others.
